In 2018 Jimmy C was commissioned by Disney UK to paint a portrait in celebration of the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. Jimmy chose to work with one of the classic 1940’s images of Mickey, transforming it into a playful painting with dripping dots and atomising spheres so unique to the artist’s signature style. The painting was exhibited at the Mickey UK Art Collective Exhibition with Sotheby’s in London during November 2018 before becoming a part of the collection of Disney UK studios.
