For this project Jimmy C collaborated with Stuart Cupit from Inition to create a real-time self generating portrait installation that was shown during the artist’s Atomised exhibition in East London in 2015. Using a Kinect 2 sensor to capture the contours of the subject's face, in real-time the software uses a complex algorithm to calculate where to place thousands of spray paint dots, reproducing the painting style of Jimmy C in a fluid, interactive and immersive piece.
